TL;DR

  • European industrial electricity commonly lands between €0.14 and €0.32 per kWh all-in.
  • Gas is typically 2.5–4× cheaper per kWh, which is why gas dryers dominate high-volume shops.
  • Energy is usually €0.03–€0.11 per garment — small per piece, significant per year.

Energy is billed monthly as one number and almost never allocated to a job. Without a per-hour machine rate you cannot see which method or machine actually consumes your margin.
